Charmaine James

Charmaine James first got in the beauty game to create products to help care for her children’s hair. She went on to launch Locsanity haircare in 2017, transforming her kitchen beautician skills into a lucrative venture.

She is also the mastermind behind an innovative tool to reduce the time it takes for starting and upkeeping loc’d hairstyles — including sister locs and micro locs. Her patent-pending tool is made with metal to prevent breakage with dual tips to allow for clean parts and switching between loc sizes.
