IFundWomen Panel Aims To Amplify AAPI Brand Voices

Amplifying AAPI Voices

For the past two years, the fund has become a go-to resource for women of color entrepreneurs. Reports show women of color represent about 39% of the population, yet make up 89% of new woman-owned businesses. They are also the least funded. IFundWomen of Color provides access to necessary capital through crowdfunding and grants, along with mentorship, coaching, and space to amplify their voices.

This event will focus on AAPI women brand founders on their unique experiences and challenges while also addressing a political environment that has flamed anti-Asian hate. Featured panelists include Cynthia Pong, founder of Embrace Change and Saliaja Joshi, founder of Mango and Marigold Press, joined by moderator Bee Shapiro, beauty writer for The New York Times.

This virtual event looks to be a great opportunity to not just see, but hear and learn more about other diverse communities and how to better support and collaborate for continued change.
