Venus & Serena Williams Were Shimmering Goddesses At The 2022 Critics’ Choice Awards
Get into the tennis icons’ shimmery slay.
Venus and Serena Williams served up silver slay for the 27th annual Critics Choice Awards Sunday night. The tennis phenoms sparkled on the red carpet for the show where their father’s biopic “King Richard” was nominated for six awards.

Venus was a shimmering goddess in an atelier Versace gown styled by Law Roach. Venus served up major leg envy in the edgy romper-meet-gown which featured a plunging neckline and floor-grazing skirt panels. She completed the look with silver mod platform heels and blown-out tresses styled by Lacy Redway, featuring a slightly off-center part.
Serena also rocked Versace, opting for a classic sparkling gown with a voluminous train extending from her hip into the cascading fabric, styled by Jason Bolden. She completed the look with a curly shoulder-length bob.
And, while they shined on the carpet, they also won big during the awards, with Will Smith taking home Best Actor award for his portrayal of their father Richard Williams in the film.
“You all define the American dream,” said Smith of the Williams’ family. You represent the best of what we all hope this world and this country can be.”
