There will also be a Visionary Awards Brunch honoring Claire Sulmers, Fashion Bomb Daily; Janell Stephens, Camille Rose; Necole Kane, XoNeCole; Paige Wallace, No Waist Allowed; and Chastity Garner Valentine, Garner Style.

“I’m thrilled to host the second annual Grind Pretty Fest and love seeing its growth from last year–and last year’s event was pretty amazing,” said Mimi J, founder, Grind Pretty, in a recent release.

Grind Pretty is a digital platform dedicated to connecting women entrepreneurs with a network of industry experts and influencers to help them level up their businesses, strategies, and educational resources.

Mimi J, herself, is a celebrity makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur and understands the importance of access and resources for developing brands. Her beauty brand, Glamatory, was hit hard at the height of the pandemic and received support from J. Gray, founder of a non-profit vertical Influencer In Color and the Black influencer agency Image is Everything Co. Through the power of partnership and beauty influencers, her brand not only survived, but is once again thriving.
