They say everything is bigger in Texas — and Think Three Media’s Juneteenth Fashion Show was no exception. The first annual event featured big, bold, and over-the-top fashions from nearly one dozen local designers and brands celebrating Black fashion excellence, culture, and freedom. And, it drew record-breaking crowds with more than 1,500 attendees gathering at Legacy Hall, making it one of the largest-ever fashion shows in the DFW area.
Featured vendors included award-winning designers such as Don Morphy, who has gained national recognition for his menswear, and Esé Azénabor, a powerhouse bridal and cocktail fashion designer. Models also stomped the runway in custom looks from Amy Holly ResortWear, Energy Check, AND-MADE, and PWR WMN, as well as from local boutiques like Creteation, House of Dasha, Indigo 1745, MEZAI, and One Street.

The event was more than a fashion dream, it also introduced residents to the fashion powerhouses in their own backyard. “This is talent right here in the City of Dallas that many of the community does not even know exists,” shared Leah Frazier, Think Three Media CEO and mastermind behind the event.
“Putting a spotlight on our incredible Black creatives, designers, and artists here in the DFW Metroplex, was undoubtedly the icing on the cake,” added Frazier in a recent statement. “I’m so happy that this event alone brought so many people a little piece of hope and a whole lot of Black Joy.”
“It was an honor to be a part of such a beautiful moment in DFW and for the culture,” said Alexis Daniels, in a recent release. Her AND-MADE creations included larger-than-life hand-crafted earrings. “I absolutely cannot wait for next year to reach even more people and to continue to share the message of Black Excellence.”
