Dr. Campbell has been modeling since she was 15 years old. She has made beauty history as the first Black model to appear on the covers of French “Vogue” and “Time,” as well as “Vogue” September fashion issue. She also strutted the runway and appeared in campaigns for the world’s top designers and brands, like Versace, Dior, Givenchy, NARS, Lanvin, and Calvin, as well as received countless awards and recognition.

“From enfant prodige to goddess of fashion, Naomi represents beauty, activism, and joie de vivre,” said CFDA chairwoman Diane von Furstenberg when Campbell received the 2018 Fashion Icon Award.

And, with four decades in the game, she continues to stunt on models half her age. Just last week, she hit the runway for Paris Fashion Week, appearing in shows for Balenciaga and Valentino.
