Meagan Good is known for being bold in her beauty. She’s not afraid to try new looks, switch up her hair, or open up about her own insecurities. So it makes sense the stunner has been tapped as haircare brand Dark & Lovely’s newest brand ambassador.

The “Harlem” actress pulled up for the announcement at the brand’s Making Bold Moves event in support of its Building Beautiful Futures initiative to bring equity to education and career opportunities for young Black women. Through the partnership, Good will help raise awareness around the initiative, which provides college scholarships, masterclass workshops, and mentorship opportunities for more than 1,200 young Black women and girls.

Good also joined a conversation with Digital Creator DonYé Taylor, moderated by Tenaj Ferguson, Dark & Lovely Marketing Director, on the power of mentorship.

Of course, the award-winning actress and producer will also showcase how and why she uses the brand’s product line to achieve some of her show-stopping looks — including her bold blonde mane.

Over the past 50 years, Dark & Lovely has pulled up with some innovations aimed at helping Black women live their best hair life — from introducing the first-ever neutralizing shampoo to creating products formulated specifically to protect natural hair under and in-between protective styles

“In a world where Black women are often disregarded, Dark & Lovely has always celebrated us,” said Good in a recent release. “I’m honored to be partnering with this legendary brand to help embolden Black women to authentically walk in their power, dream big and celebrate who they are.”
