Black-owned beauty brand Buttah Skin by Dorion Renaud is quickly becoming the beauty brand to watch. Reality TV star-turned-beautypreneur Dorion Renaud has turned his passion to destigmatize skincare for Black men into a multimillion-dollar empire. The former celeb facialist also boasts a who’s who list of brand friends and cosigns, including Beyoncé, Cassie, Vanessa Simmons, Keri Hilson, Khloe Kardashian, and more.
And now, fresh off a series of retail expansions, the Black-owned beauty brand has been named “Emerging Brand Partner of The Year” by Macy’s.

“On behalf of the entire Buttah Skin team, it is an incredible honor to receive such a prestigious award,” said Renaud while receiving the award at Macy’s Brand Partner breakfast in New York City.he award at Macy’s Herald Square location in New York City. “Our partnership with Macy’s has elevated the Buttah brand significantly and we look forward to continued success in 2023.”
Buttah Skin features organic and cruelty-free products addressing melanin-rich skincare concerns like hyperpigmentation, dry skin, and even razor bumps. Its best-selling offerings include a vibe brush, vitamin C serum, rosewater toner, charcoal detox mask, and whipped body butter.
The award follows Buttah Skin’s successful introduction into Macy’s in 2022, as well as other retail partners such as HSN, Saks, and Ulta. The brand was also named 2021 HSN Small Business of The Year last spring.

Renaud is currently gearing up to roll out the brand’s first round of new skincare offerings since launching Buttah Skin in 2018.
