Pharrell Williams is definitely living out his fashion dreams as men’s creative director for Louis Vuitton. The music and entertainment mogul debuted his first-ever collection for the fashion house’s Paris Men’s Fashion SS24 presentation Tuesday, June 20 in peak Pharrell style. The star-studded show featured a whopping 71 looks, along with a “JOY”-ful gospel choir (belting out his new tunes), and appearances by Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Clipse, and more.

Williams found a way to morph the fashion house’s signature Damier canvas into an extension of the pixel aesthetic we have seen with his own brands. Throughout the show, we saw Minecraft-esque blocks on everything from graphic tees and jean jumpsuits to a camouflage shorts suit that Pharrell dubbed “Damoflage.”

Speaking of shorts, there were lots of them (because Pharrell) with coordinated fitted jackets, along with hats, vibrant colorways for the “Speedy” bags, and reworked LV trunks.

“This moment is dedicated to the giant before me,” said Williams, as he acknowledged his late predecessor and friend Virgil Abloh. “To our brother in spirit.”
