In today’s What The Hair moment, we introduce you to Los Angeles based stylist Janet Michelle who recently posted a video of her braiding her eyebrow. Her eyebrow. Wait, what? In the now-viral clip, she cornrows her entire eyebrow to prove that short hair can get weave or braid installations.

“If I can grip my eyebrows, then there’s hope for people with short hair to get extensions,” she said.

While the licensed beautician’s grip game cannot be denied, I am of course always weary of breakage from any install that is too tight. However, not only does she manage to create a presentable-looking braid across her face, there is no obvious pull or stress on the hair. “My eyebrows were not harmed in making this video,” she joked.

Clearly, after watching this, no one with a TWA or cropped cut can ever say their hair is too short to be gripped. The question now remains is how long can a weave last on less than one inch of hair!
