Get The Look: Andra Day’s 2021 BET Nails

Last night’s BET Awards brought out a smorgasbord of fashion looks — and nails were no exception. Among our fave nail divas was Andra Day who took home the Best Actress award for her starring role in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday.

Day served up edgy princess vibes for the evening, rocking a tiered gown and crystal-embellished baby hairs. She finished off the look with a rosey nude beat and her signature charmed nails look painted by manicurist Jolene Brodeur.

Brodeur shared how to get the look using OPI polish collection. After priming nails with a natural base coat, she applied two coats of OPI’s Strawberry Margarita gel polish. She then added dots of gold detailing to the nails using “This Changes Everything!” ($10.50) glitter nail polish “to give some texture and dimension.”

She finished off the look by strategically placing crystal crosses on each ring finger and set with a clear top coat.
