Celebrity makeup artist AJ Crimson has passed away. According to news reports, he died in a drowning accident while on vacation earlier this week. The family has not yet confirmed details.
Dubbed as a “beauty industry rock star,” Crimson was renowned in his field for his artisan skills as well as his standout cosmetics collection, AJ Crimson Beauty. Actor Ryan Leslie and Naturi Naughton previously served as faces for the brand, with his clientele including the likes of LeToya Luckett, Adrienne Bailon, Missy Elliot, Angela Bassett, and more.
His brand has also been featured in such publications as Hype Hair, ESSENCE, Marie Claire, Vogue, and more.
He was always giving us beauty life as a go-to resource and expert to show everyday women how to elevate their look.
