Brandy Makes Surprise 2022 BET Awards Appearance With Flawless Bars & Baby Hair
The R&B icon served up a ‘first class’ cameo with Jack Harlow.
Brandy pulled up for a surprise cameo at the 2022 BET Awards – and she was ready for all of the smoke. The Grammy Award-winning R&B icon joined Jack Harlow during his performance of “First Class,” giving us flawless everything – from her hot 16 to voluminous curls.
For those who don’t know the back story, Harlow went viral last month for not knowing that THEE Brandy was Ray J’s sister. (Given this past weekend’s Verzuz, Harlow was definitely on the wrong sibling’s team!). I mean, how, sway? Brandy pretty much put Ray J on – he even played Brandy’s brother on “Moesha.”
In response, Brandy tweeted that she would “murk this dude in rap at 43 on his own beats and then sing his ass to sleep.” Then, she dropped bars, to prove it.
So, when she hit the stage, we were all like, “Harlow, who?” It’s Brandy’s song, now! The R&B icon stole the show while serving bars and retro fashion vibes.
She took us back to the ‘90s with an acid-washed denim jumper and rosy nude beat. Instead of braids, she gave us volume with wand-curled waist-length tresses with a deep middle part and her signature sleek baby hair. Her hairstylist Nikkia Nelson shared deets on the bouncy ‘do, pulling out KISS’ 3-in-1 edge brush and edge fixer to give us her signature sleek baby hair.
