There’s no denying the effect of Rihanna’s star power. The Bajad baddie has been breaking records and moving beauty culture with everything she touches for the past decade. Now, add a Super Bowl performance and she’s taking winning to a whole new level.
Sunday (Feb. 12) night, Rihanna had more eyes on her than the actual game for her first live music performance in seven years. So what better time to have the world searching for her groundbreaking Fenty Beauty brand?

The “B*tch Better Have My Money” singer pulled up in a red bodysuit and unzipped coverall jumpsuit cradling her very visibly pregnant belly, rocking her own red lipstick before serving up the ultimate product placement. Halfway into her 14-minute set, she literally took a beat to catch her breath and blot her face with her own Invisimatte Instant Setting + Blotting Powder.
RiRi also rocked four more products from her line, including her Prof Filt’r Foundation and Match Stix Contour Skinstick. According to Cosmetics Business, Fenty Beauty saw an 833% increase in searches.
A quick search on Google Trends showed even higher searches across her Fenty and Savage products (850% and more). And her belly led searches for “Is Fenty safe for pregnancy” to soar by 3,333%.

We also love that she drove attention to the late fashion icon Andre Leon Talley after donning an oversized red coat in his honor. Talley’s infamous red coat is actually up for auction now (through February 15) as part of a special collection to benefit Black churches.
And, if you are actually wondering if it was that big of a deal, take note that you’re reading this right now. And, we are here for all of it.
