PuffCuff Founder Launches ‘Laaayed’ Hair Tool & Haircare Collection
The natural hair accessory line now has a new tool and styling lineup.
PuffCuff founder Ceata E. Lash is expanding her beauty boss empire. Lash made history with the launch of the hair holder as the first Black woman to be granted not one, but two, patents for a natural hair accessory.
Now, she is launching her own hairstyling collection for kinky and curly hair types. Laaayed by PuffCuff includes six styling products: Argan Oil Styling Gel, Firm Hold Edge Control, Braid & Loc Pomade, Nourishing & Soothing Serum, Daily Curl Revitalizing Mist Concentrate, and Silky Smooth Curl Defining Mousse. The lineup is infused with such ingredients as argan oil, aloe vera, and rice bran oil to nourish, moisturize and protect hair without any sulfates, parabens or silicones.
“With LAAAYED, I wanted to provide a line of styling products that nourish natural and curly hair and give customers the freedom and ability to style their hair however they want so that they can feel confident in their natural texture,” said Lash in a press statement. “Whether you’re rocking locs, braids, swooped edges, or loose curls, LAAAYED will help you get that look.”
The collection also shows off Lash’s design skills with her latest hairstyling tool design: the EdgeMaster™ edge brush. The brush features a 3-in-1 design with tug-free silicone bristles, an elongated tooth for sectioning, and a spatula for intricate edge design styling.
