Lizzo Serves Up Denim Dreams With Latest Yitty Drop
The ‘About Damn Time’ singer is taking shapewear to a whole new level.
The new denim line from Lizzo’s shapewear brand Yitty is taking shapewear to a whole new level. The collection includes pieces like stretchy jeans, booty shorts, denim jackets, corsets, and even a bucket hat to match. The line is all-inclusive beginning at a size 6X down to an extra small.

The “smoothing stretch” jeans are the star of this line, with light smoothing compression to give you that boost you’ve been wanting. The collection features three denim washes, including one dark wash emblazoned with the Yitty brand print across the fabric. Need extra hold? Some selections also feature a silicone gripper to keep your fit in place with every move you make.
“Yitty is already so much more than shapewear, reinvented. It’s a brand based on the principles of self-love, radical inner confidence, and effortless, everyday wear. With sizes from 6x to extra small, we are truly designing for and representing every single body– and it’s about damn time!” says Yitty founder Lizzo.
While getting ready in her denim shapewear in a TikTok, Lizzo mentions she started Yitty as a way to remove herself and other people away from the body constraints of regular shapewear.
“I was sick of the shapewear industry forcing a body type on me,” says Lizzo. “I wanted to give all bodies– and yes to y’all, even the ones that talking sh*t, the opportunity to create your own beauty, create what feels good to you, what looks good to you.”
She continues the TikTok, expressing to her followers that Yitty is for everyone and every body.
“Basically, all bodies are welcome here, and all bodies are represented here. I got a big soft belly. I got little soft, saggy titties, and I like it. I’ve got back rolls, and I don’t mind them. I want them to breathe in my shapewear.”
Lizzo ends her video with a message to the lovers (while shutting down haters) about beauty standards and self-love. “Let’s all not judge each other and just learn to love the bodies we’re in, and wear stuff that feels good. Liberate yourself!”
As Lizzo says, liberate yourself in whatever you want to wear.
