We love a good fashion find — especially when it’s Black-owned — and talk show host Tamron Hall is winning on both fronts. The former broadcast journalist is known for highlighting underrepresented and innovative creatives on her series, the Tamron Hall Show.
Just last month, she pulled up in a gorgeous statement puff-sleeve dress from Busayo. The Oba dress, which retails for $488, features rich blue-green dye accented with geometric pink, purple and white blocks. Founded by Busayo Michelle Olupona, the Black woman-owned brand features vibrant prints and bold colors celebrating Olupona’s Nigerian roots. She crafts her designs using a traditional Nigerian textile dyeing technique called adire.

Olupona first started sewing dresses as a hobby (she was a practicing attorney at the time) before launching the brand in 2013. Ten years later, her designs have been worn by such celebs as Daniel Kaluuya, Madonna, Wunmi Mosaku, Kelly Clarkson, and Hall.
But you don’t have to be a celeb to get your slay on. You can find Busayo in Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, Bergdorfs, and Shopbop.
