Glossier Launches $500K Grant Initiative For Black-Owned Beauty Businesses

Glossier has joined in the grant conversation with $500K to help Black-owned beauty businesses.

The grants range from $10K to $50K and are designed specifically for brands selling physical products (i.e, haircare, makeup, skincare, etc.) Pre-launch businesses that are still in development can apply for up to $10K; early-stage businesses, up to $30K; and businesses that have been around longer than a year can access up to $50K.

The 15 selected businesses will also have access to advisory support from Glossier and industry experts

The funds are part of Glossier’s $1M commitment to supporting efforts to fight racial justice. Last month, it donated $500K to several organizations, including Black Lives Matter and The NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.
