Operation HOPE Initiative Is Giving Black Businesses Free Access To Shopify

The ‘1 Million Black Businesses’ initiative includes free 120-day Shopify trials to jumpstart your business.

Have you been on the fence about creating your new online business? Not sure how to get started? Well, Operation HOPE is offering Black-owned businesses a free, 120-day subscription to Shopify. This will give businesses plenty of time to set up their shops, inventory, pricing, and actually start generating revenue.

The offering is part of Operation HOPE’s $1 Million Black Businesses initiative in partnership with Shopify to help start, grow, and scale one million Black businesses by 2030.

Reports show that Black entrepreneurship is now at the highest level among all minority groups in the U.S. since the pandemic started. But they still need solid footing to grow from innovative ideas to sustainable ventures. With that, Shopify has committed $130 million 1MBB, with 60 more corporate, governmental, and private partners joining on to provide free access to tools, resources, mentorship, and education.
