SheaMoisture & New Voices Announce $100K Power Pitch Competition

SheaMoisture is turning out to be a gift that keeps on giving for Black-owned businesses. The beauty brand has teamed up with New Voices Foundation to host a new virtual funding event.

The $100K Power Pitch Competition will award grants and coaching support to businesses as part of its $1 Million Community Commerce Fund.

In order to qualify, businesses must have been incorporated for at least three months, majority-owned by a woman of color, participate in the SheaMoisture e-Lab program, and develop a COVID-19 Recovery Plan.

The SheaMoisture e-Lab is an e-learning platform for women of color entrepreneurs to continue to gain education, access to resources, mentorship, and advice on how to prepare for an economic downturn.

Businesses have until October 7 to apply. The actual competition will take place on October 15. Click here to apply.
