Rogers is known for his vibrant, larger-than-life creations that have draped the likes of Zendaya, Tracee Ellis Ross, Rihanna, Michelle Obama, and Lizzo. This limited 18-piece offering for Target’s Designer Dress Collection is no exception. Rogers serves up all sorts of extravagant looks conjuring retro ’60s and ’80 shift dresses with voluminous shoulders, gathered skirts, and ruffled layers. (Who knew gingham and plaid could be such fashion friends?)

This is a major move Rogers who continues to gain name recognition after winning back-to-back Council of Fashion Designers of America awards. In 2019, he took home the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund (including a $400K cash prize) and, in 2020, was named American Emerging Designer of the Year.
