Naomi Osaka continues to serve up wins, even without picking up a racket. The tennis phenom made international headlines in May after choosing to prioritize self-care and mental health. She went on to cover Time ahead of the Tokyo Olympics. And this weekend, she was named Best Female Athlete at the 2021 ESPY Awards.

Osaka also served up a beauty win Saturday (July 11) in her first public appearance since withdrawing from both the French Open and Wimbledon. While rocking a bold look straight from Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2022 runway presentation, it was her accessorized baby hairs and bronzed nude beat that captivated us.

Hairstylist Marty Harper slicked back Osaka’s signature curls into a low back ponytail with swooped baby edges held in place with Sebastian Gel Forte Strong-Hold Gel. He then added flair to her edges with emerald rhinestones accented along the swoops.

“When creating this look, the blouse and skirt from Louis Vuitton pushed us,” told Sadiaa. “It was about balance of strength, youth and reflection. The high shine and pops of rhinestone were to embrace this star.”

Makeup artist Jessica Smalls completed Osaka’s look with a bronzed goddess eye, KISS My Lash But Better Lashes, and dewy highlights. “The ESPY’s is a time when we celebrate the best of the best in the world of sports,” Smalls told Sadiaa. “I wanted to celebrate Naomi by creating a look that brings out the best of all her naturally gorgeous features with a focus on her eyes.”
