Black-owned beauty brand Pear Nova is pulling up for Domestic Violence Awareness Month with a new campaign to support domestic violence survivors.
Led by founder and licensed esthetician Rachel James, the brand has joined forces with Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence (BTSADV) and Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC) to spread awareness and assist victims and survivors
Throughout the month October, Pear Nova will donate a portion of every sale on its website to BTSADV., a national nonprofit serving victims and survivors along with children and families who have lost loved ones and parents to domestic violence.

The brand will also CAWC’s homeless shelter to donate essential supplies for women and their families affected by this abuse.
Pear Nova has supported various nonprofits over the years as part of James’ dedication to helping victims and their families rebuild in the aftermath of suffering after the loss of her own family members from domestic violence.
“At Pear Nova, we stand with domestic violence victims, survivors, family members, and friends,” shared the brand in a recent statement. “It’s a cause near to us every day.”
