NAHA Announces 2022 Finalists
The ‘Oscars’ of hair will honor the industry’s top hairstylists, makeup artists, and educators across in January 2022.
The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) has announced the top finalists for the 2022 North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA). Dubbed the Oscars of hair, NAHA is considered the most prestigious professional beauty competition on the continent.
The industry’s top hairstylists, makeup artists, and educators were selected across 14 creative categories — including textured hair, editorial, and avant grade — for pushing the boundaries of skill, artistry, and precision.
“The 2022 North American Hairstyling Award finalists showcase excellence, creativity, and technical ability,” said Nina Daily, PBA Executive Director, in a statement. “Year after year, we continue to be amazed by the level of talent and elevated artistry shown by these artists.”

The finalists’ collections will be judged anonymously over three rounds by top industry professionals including Vernon François, Tippi Shorter, Tabatha Coffee, Keya Neal, Serge Normant, Danilo, and Sam Villa.
NAHA Awards winners will be announced on January 30, 2022, in Los Angeles, Calif.
