“This launch is the culmination of nearly eight years of building this brand with a focus on innovation and ingredients that offer solutions for textured hair,” said Monique Rodriguez, Mielle Organics CEO and founder, in a recent statement. “Ulta Beauty is a premier destination for beauty lovers, and now Mielle Organics has arrived!”

The announcement is the brand’s latest move to accelerate growth and support its More Than a Strand initiative. In 2020, Mielle Organics grew more than 160%, and in 2021, the brand received a $100M Series A investment to solidify its place in beauty history.

“We’re delighted to welcome Mielle Organics to the Ulta Beauty haircare assortment,” said Jessica Phillips, vice president of merchandising at Ulta Beauty. “The brand has established a loyal fanbase over the years and we’re excited to offer yet another touchpoint for beauty enthusiasts to discover their beloved products.”

The retail partnership kicks off with eight selections from the brand’s top-selling collections. Fans of the Mielle Organics Essentials Collection will be able to find Babassu Oil & Mint Deep Conditioner, Avocado Moisturizing Hair Milk, White Peony Leave-In Conditioner, and Mint Almond Oil. Offerings from the Pomegranate & Honey Collection, which is formulated for tighter kinks and curls, include Moisturizing and Detangling Shampoo, Moisturizing and Detangling Conditioner, Leave-in Conditioner, and Coil Sculpting Custard. Each item retails between $12.99 and $14.99.

The brand is also hosting a meet-and-greet Friday, April 22 at 1 pm to celebrate the launch at the Atlanta Ulta Beauty Store & Hair Salon. Rodriguez will be joined by reality stars Toya Johnson, LaToya Forever, and other celebrity guests.
