This might just be everyone’s mood after a fresh manicure.

Tyler The Creator is dipping his toes (or should we say nails) back in the beauty world with a new Golf Le Fleur* drop. The rapper-slash-everything-else-he-wants-to-do has just announced his latest nail polish collection with a hilarious video.

In the visuals, a police officer approaches a car with somebody’s aunty sitting inside. She is serving up church lady pearls and a duck bill clipped-doobie with her hands perched on the steering wheel. The officer asks for her license and identification, but she is clearly not trying to be bothered.

“Imma need you to give me three minutes. Is that okay with you?” He asks again and things escalate quickly. “I don’t have time for fun, but I do have time to get these nails done,” she smarts off. “What I’m not going to do is mess up my nails looking for a piece of paper with some names and numbers on it for you.”

Of course, nothing good can come out of talking crazy to a cop (and this is where the video takes its weird Tyler route). But, anyone who’s had a fresh manicure can relate to trying to save your polish. And with her hands glued to the wheel, it’s got us wondering if the polish will really be dry in three minutes.

The three-piece collection comes in muted, pastel hues: Rose, Blonde, and Jade. The gloss polishes feature the brand’s signature cap and are 13-free, non-toxic, and cruelty-free.

This is Tyler’s second polish drop — he introduced his first trio in December 2021, along with perfume — though he doesn’t fancy himself a beauty connoisseur.

“I don’t like to say I’m getting into the beauty world,” he told Allure. “I like perfume, so I said, ‘Oh, I’m going to make one!’ I like to wear glitter nail polish a lot, so I wanted to make a few colors that I rarely get to see. That’s all it is. It is less wanting in on beauty world and more, ‘Oh, I want to try my hand at this.’ I’m super blessed to be in a position where any idea I have, I’ve got the means to [bring it to life].”

Each polish retails for $20 or you can cop the trio for $55 along with a metal grit blade nail. They are available online and, just maybe, at one of the brand’s LA-based pop-up shops, along with other offerings, including shoes and accessories.
