Luster’s Pink is in its beauty bag! The iconic brand just added a new “Comfort Oil” scalp serum to its moisturizing lineup. The new offering is formulated with certified organic olive and coconut oils along with peppermint, lavender, clary sage, and rosemary oils and botanical extracts to help soothe and calm dry, itchy scalps.

“We wanted to address common concerns we hear from consumers about the various scalp conditions they experience while wearing different looks; especially, protective styles such as braids, wigs or sew-in weaves, which can put extra tension on the scalp and increase the chance for build-up, dryness and irritation,” said Resa Luster-Mac, senior brand manager and third-generation Luster executive at Luster Products, of the new offering.

For those who don’t know, the folks behind Luster Products have really been stepping their game up over the past year. Last year, they launched a new moisture collection including a Growth & Scalp Relief moisturizing lotion that had us low-key minty and refreshed. This is not your grandmother’s fluorescent pink oil. The lotions are way more natural with way less coloring and toxins.

The new scalp serum is also cruelty-free and has no mineral oil, petroleum, silcones, alcohol, parbens, gluten, or artificial colors.

Luster’s Pink Comfort Oil retails for $8.99 is currently available exclusively at lusterproducts.com. You can find its other offerings at your favorite beauty supply store, as well as major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Sally Beauty.
