Dallas-based PR guru and media personality Leah Frazier is one of the most famous “unfamous” people you will meet in North Texas. Say her name in a room and just about everyone has been impacted by the two-time Emmy Award-winner and Think Three Media CEO — whether it’s securing placements on broadcast television, schooling newbies and pros on the do’s and dont’s of PR, or creating yet another opportunity for a rising brand or entrepreneur to get a seat one of many proverbial tables.
That is why Sadiaa Black Beauty Guide was so thrilled to honor Frazier with our first-ever “Advocacy Award” at the inaugural Black Beauty Room & Awards presented by Legacy West. The Advocacy award recognizes a professional, entrepreneur, or executive whose outreach, projects, or leadership has helped advance the inclusion, perception, and celebration of Black beauty in all forms.

And Frazier does all of that, without pomp or circumstance — including producing a record-breaking Juneteenth fashion show and shine the spotlight on emerging and established Black designers and brands. And, this was especially humbling to our team as we worked to build and promote this event as newcomers to the city. When others would not respond to emails or phone calls, she helped this publication open new doors, make new connections, and, ultimately, make room to host a room of Black beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, and aficionados.
For that, Sadiaa Black Beauty Guide and its founder (me!) are forever grateful and thankful for her willingness to push through doors for strangers. And, we thank her for allowing us to honor her and her work (it was a complete surprise to her!)
