Jordin Sparks has been named haircare brand Cantu Beauty’s newest brand ambassador. The Grammy-nominated singer has often been celebrated for her enviable crown of curls. Now, as a longtime fan of the brand’s conditioning treatments and styling gels, Sparks will be sharing how she creates some of her fave looks.
In her first public post, she shows off lengthy curls and two shea butter-infused products she uses to moisturize and revitalize them. In previous interviews, she has revealed she had to nurse her mane back to health after extensive heat damage during her time on “American Idol.”

“I’m excited to be a brand ambassador for this award-winning haircare brand to not only serve some looks, but also share resources to equip future female leaders with the knowledge and support needed to succeed in their dreams,” said Sparks in a social media post.
Sparks will also be helping highlight the brand’s women empowerment initiatives. Just last month, she kicked off the partnership with a virtual visit to 11 young women participating in Cantu’s Girls Leading Our World (GLOW) Global Fellowship. The four-month virtual fellowship brought together 50 women to gain hands-on experience in four key areas of the beauty industry: consumer, concept, commercial, and campaign.
In addition to the GLOW fellowship in partnership with Women Empowering Nations, Cantu also continued a multi-year relationship with nonprofit Gyrl Wonder to support Black and Latina communities and celebrated its second year of Cantu Elevate, itw entrepreneurship accelerator program for Black female-led businesses in partnership with BrainTrust Founders Studio.

“We’re so honored to have Jordin Sparks join the Cantu Crew as our brand ambassador,” said Dametria Kinsley, Cantu’s Global Vice President of Marketing. “She has been a pillar in Black and Brown communities for years through her own philanthropic efforts and we’re excited to join forces to extend additional resources to women all around the world.”
