Dive Into Halle Bailey’s Hottest Looks From ‘The Little Mermaid’ Press Tour
The actress has been serving mermaid vibes on — and off- screen.
Our new favorite princess, Halle Bailey, is making all sorts of waves in Disney’s live-action rendition of “The Little Mermaid.”
And, the “Grownish” star does not fail to captivate both on and off screen — especially during her press run with a bevy of looks to slay the “blue” carpet and your mermaid-core fantasies. Bailey has sparkled and shimmered in liquified and shell-inspired looks styled by Nichole Goodman that had us wondering if were already under the sea.
Her looks would not be complete without mentioning the versatility of Halle’s gorgeous locs. Bailey bodied several stunning looks created by hairstylist Tinisha Meeks while promoting the film. Halle’s long locs gave us Ariel vibes with that classic princess glow during each premiere.
This is only the second time we are seeing a Black Disney princess on the screen since Princess Tiana in The Princess and The Frog in 2009. And we know representation matters in TV and film. The trailer alone had the Internet abuzz with videos of young Black girls in awe as they saw themselves mirrored in the character.
