DESERI Handbags Take Center Stage With Spring 2025 Showcase

A well-made handbag does more than complete a look—it tells a story. For Dallas-based luxury brand DESERI, that story is one of skilled artistry, cultural pride, and elevated design. Now in its third year, the brand has launched a Spring 2025 collection that blends classic silhouettes with retro nods, offering pieces that feel both timeless and of the moment.

And, because Texas does everything big, the brand hosted a fashion week-worthy runway show on March 6 at the Club VIVO to unveil the collection, featuring performances by the Dallas Black Dance Theatre, a trick roper, and a custom hat station. Even with the glam, sparkle, and cowboy flair, it was the purses that took center stage.

Models stomped the runway showcasing nearly three dozen season must-haves. Standouts from the new collection include the debut of the KELLEY leather backpack, a sleek and versatile addition perfect for everyday luxury; DIVA clutches, a refined twist on the acrylic resin trend, turning statement into sophistication; and ROSA, a bold reimagining of the classic leather purse in vibrant monochrome hues. The collection also features hand-painted, ’90s-inspired wristlets and wallets—playful nods to nostalgia, elevated by artisan craftsmanship.

“This collection is all about versatility and refinement,” said designer Deseri Kelley. “We wanted to create designs that transition effortlessly from day to night, work to weekend, while maintaining the elevated luxury that defines DESERI.”

The presentation also showcased its signature offerings, including its namesake, a large oversized leather tote and a custom denim version.

Each handbag is handmade in Spain using premium leathers, blending European techniques with culturally resonant design.
