I know, right? Whether straight or curly, we all need them at one point or another for our tresses. But, it turns out these hairdo savers, can quickly become hair don’ts if they are rusting or the protective ends have broken off. If so, they can snag, pull and even rip through your tucked tresses.

If you’re like me and do not plan on giving up hair pins anytime soon, invest in good ones that are sealed with plastic and have sufficient protection on the ends. Be sure to ditch them as soon as they break or rust.
