Citizens Bank Launches $1.5M Grant Program For Minority-Owned Businesses

After pulling up with a $10M commitment to support underserved communities, Citizens Bank has just announced a new $1.5M grant opportunity.
The Citizens Minority-Owned Small Business Grant will award 100 small businesses a $15K grant to support and sustain their success in the midst of the pandemic and beyond.
In addition, grant recipients will receive mentorship via a new partnership with SCORE.
To be eligible, businesses must be at least 51% minority-owned, operated and controlled (i.e., Black, Asian American, Hispanic American, or Native American) and must have been in business prior to August 3, 2020.
The application process includes an up to 150-word statement describing how your business would use the funds. Businesses will be selected based on the perceived effectiveness of their plan to strengthen and sustain their business and help their community as well as the appropriateness to the grant program theme and the Citizens Bank brand image.
