JOANN Fabrics Is Awarding $5K Grants To Black Sewers & Crafters

JOANN Fabrics has just launched a new $100K Minority Creative Grant program to support Black crafters and sewers. The new program will award a $5K grant each to 20 Black entrepreneurs, small businesses, and organizers of charitable efforts.

Each winner will receive a $5K JOANN credit to be used by December 2021. In addition, each winner will be considered for a paid instructor role with Creativebug and featured on JOANN social media.

This would be a great come-up for those with a passion for such thing as knitting as well start-up fashion designers needing to get supplies.

To apply, complete an application form with an 600-word essay of what this grant would mean to you and a three- to five- video of what inspired you to start creating.
