As Black and women-owned businesses continue to be hit the hardest in the mdist of the pandemic, companies are pulling up with resources and funds to help you keep bossing up.

We’re assuming you already know about SBA loans and Here is a list of grants and opportunities we’ve compiled for beauty entrepreneurs and brand owners to apply, pitch or submit to for the month of February.

Let’s Make Black History Pitch Competition

IFundWomen of Color will select five women Black women entrepreneurs to pitch their startups in front of a panel of VCs, Fortune 500 brands, and successful entrepreneurs. Early-stage founders are invited to apply. Prizes include monetary and coaching grants

Inclusive Beauty Fund

L’Oréal USA and the NAACP’s new partnership will award 30 grants of $10K each to Black-owned small businesses, Black entrepreneurs, and professional services within the beauty space along with professional mentorship and development support. This includes salons, spas, barbershops, hairstylists, makeup artists, entrepreneurs, startup founders, haircare specialists, and beauty schools.

Black Ambition Prize & Black Ambition HBCU Prize

This pitch competition launched by Pharrell Williams is offering up cash prizes and mentorship to Black and Latinx-owned businesses. Designed to seed early-stage companies within tech, design, healthcare, or consumer products and services. The Black Ambition Prize will award up to $1M for the grand prize winner and small amounts for at least nine other brands. The Black Ambition HBCU Prize for current and former HBCU students will award one grand prize winner will receive up to a $250,000 prize and smaller cash prizes for at least nine other brands.

Wella Black Stylist Scholarship

Wella Professionals is hosting a social media giveaway for five Black licensed hairstylists to win a scholarship to either its Color Craft series or Stephen Moody’s Virtual Cut Craft courses valued at over $2,000 each.

Black Girl Venture x Afro Sheen Pitch Competition

This ongoing pitch competition uses the power of crowdfunding to help fund Black women-owned businesses. Each founder gets three minutes to pitch and a three-minute Q&A from the audience. The person with the most votes wins (not the most money raised).

IFundWomen of Color
