Tessa Thompson Named Armani Beauty Ambassador
The actress is serving up major beauty goals.
Tessa Thompson has been tapped as the newest face of Giorgio Armani Beauty. The “Thor” actress will star in a series of campaigns for the brand’s signature Luminous Silk Foundation and Lip Power offerings. Her first campaign shows her rocking a rosy neutral beat with wavy, wind-blown tresses.

Thompson is a perfect match for the brand as she has been a longtime wearer of its foundation, including the first time she had her makeup done professionally for a red carpet.
“So thrilled to say— after years of using @armanibeauty — I’m so proud to become one of their global ambassadors,” Thompson wrote on Instagram. “It’s truly surreal to represent a brand I’ve always admired.”
Her love for the brand also reflects conversations around skin tone matches for women of all shades and undertones. Though Thompson is lighter-skinned, even she experienced issues finding foundations, due to her yellow undertone.
“Like most women of color, I’m not just one color,” she shared in a promotional video. “I think they were one of the first brands that really had a wide range of colors.”
Thompson joins Armani Beauty alongside such actresses as Cate Blanchett, Zhong Chuxi, Adria Arjona, Alice Pagani, and Greta Ferro.
“What I love about Armani is the way in which it empowers any kind of woman to feel her best self,” said Thompson in a recent statement. “Our ideas around what is beautiful, culturally, are shifting, and becoming more inclusive.”
