This past February, Tessica Brown went viral after using Gorilla Glue to slick down her ponytail. After nearly losing her edges (and all of her, for that matter) has just launched her own haircare line. Whew. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade.
Instead of laying low after the hair disaster, Brown has been making the rounds sharing her hair health journey and took to Instagram Wednesday (June 16) to announce her new edge-laying line of products, aptly named Forever Hair.

Her collection includes a setting spritz, growth-stimulating oil, and edge control gel. The offerings look pretty good, too.
The growth oil drops ($14) are formulated with pure avocado black castor, black cumin seed, avocado, safflower, and rosemary oils to help prevent shedding and promote healthy scalp and stronger hair. The Sleek Edge Control, which is slated for a later release date, is infused with black castor and aloe vera. And, the top-seller, the Forever Hold spritz is serving up some serious shine and hold.
Brown took to social to show off her new beauty find that she says “holds like Gorilla Glue, but is safe for your hair and easily washes out.”

Brown seems to have taken hair cues from Dr. Michael Obeng, the Beverly Hills doctor who was able to break down the glue in her hair using his own special solvent of aloe vera gel, olive oil, and acetone. For the past two months, she worked with hair professionals to help her not only heal her scalp and jumpstart her hair growth.
In addition to the hair products, Brown is also selling a “Bonded For Life” hoodies and apparel.
